1. Is it ok to keep cremated ash at home?

Yes, keeping cremated ashes at home is widely accepted. Many individuals opt to do this to maintain a close connection with their loved ones' memories. Here are several factors to consider:

Container: Ashes are usually stored in an urn or decorative container. We offer high-quality urns and ensure the ashes are protected by using a dehumidifying agent and sealing the cover to prevent moisture. Choose a container that reflects the personality and preferences of the deceased.

 

Location: The urn can be placed in a specially designed terrarium equipped with timers, grow lights, mist, and fog makers. This allows you to position it anywhere in your home while adding warmth and comfort to your environment.

Family Wishes: It’s important to respect any specific wishes expressed by the person who was cremated regarding the handling of their ashes.

Personal Comfort: Ultimately, the decision should align with what feels right for you and your family.

If you have particular customs or beliefs, those may also guide your choice. We have designs for Christianity, Buddhism, or any major religion or non-religion.

2. How much ash do I need?

Just half a teaspoon is required. We will provide a small ziplock bag along with a container. During the ash collection, please scoop a small amount of the powdered ash into the bag. Once the bio-urn is delivered, we will assist you in sealing the ashes into the urn, which you can keep at home until the terrarium tank is ready."

3. But I am not good with plants!

The Terrarium is designed to self-water and with grow light. We decorate the tank with easy to grow moss which gives you a sense of clamness and peace. You only need to top up the tank with dechlorinated water (or bottled mineral water). It just need regular simple trimming. We also provide home visit to maintain the tank for you if you prefer.

4. How long does the delivery take?

Each tank is custom-built to order, requiring 3 to 5 weeks for construction and for the plants to stabilize before delivery to your home. In the meantime, we will provide you with a mini-urn to temporarily house the ashes. Upon delivery, the urn will be sealed with a drying agent to preserve its contents.

5. What comes with the tank?

The tank will feature a waterfall, mist sprayer, fog maker, and a small water section. It will be designed with moss, chosen for its slower growth, low maintenance, and ability to create a calm and peaceful ambiance.

6. Is this for pets too?

Yes. This setup is for both human and pets. The urns will be different to respect the remains.
